SMS / Text Message Communications

When you provide your mobile phone number on any form on this website, you may be asked to consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) from A Traveling Farm. If you provide such consent, we use your mobile number solely to send you booking confirmations, event reminders, scheduling updates, and โ€” with your express consent โ€” promotional messages relating to our services.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Following your opt-out request, we will send one final confirmation message and discontinue all future marketing texts. Reply START at any time to re-subscribe. Reply HELP for assistance.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. A Traveling Farm is not responsible for charges assessed by your wireless carrier.

No Sharing of SMS Data: Your mobile phone number and SMS consent status are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS will not be shared with any third party or affiliate company for marketing purposes.

TCPA Compliance: Our SMS practices comply with the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. ยง 227. Your consent to receive automated text messages is obtained prior to sending any marketing SMS and is documented at the time of submission. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any good or service.

Florida Residents โ€” FTSA: If you are a Florida resident, your consent also satisfies the requirements of the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA), Fla. Stat. ยง 501.059, as amended effective July 1, 2021, which requires prior express written consent before sending automated or pre-recorded calls or text messages to Florida telephone numbers. You may revoke consent at any time as described above.

Email Marketing & Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp (operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC) to manage our email marketing communications. If you subscribe to our email list or provide your email on a booking or contact form, your name and email address may be transmitted to and stored on Mailchimp's servers located in the United States.

How Mailchimp Uses Your Data: Mailchimp acts as a data processor on our behalf. We do not authorize Mailchimp to use your personal information for its own marketing purposes. Mailchimp's data practices are governed by its own Privacy Policy (mailchimp.com/legal/privacy).

Unsubscribe: Every marketing email includes a visible and functional unsubscribe link. Clicking it will immediately begin the process of removing you from our list. You may also request removal by emailing cw@atravelingfarm.com. Opt-out requests will be honored within 10 business days in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act.

CAN-SPAM Act Compliance: All commercial email messages we send comply with the federal CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. ยงยง 7701โ€“7713). Every marketing email from A Traveling Farm will: (a) accurately identify us as the sender; (b) include our valid physical mailing address; (c) use honest, non-deceptive subject lines; (d) be identified as advertising where applicable; and (e) include a working opt-out mechanism. We do not purchase, rent, or harvest email lists.

Consent: We will only add you to our marketing email list if you have provided express consent. Transactional emails (e.g., booking confirmations) do not require marketing consent and are necessary to fulfill your service request.

Third-Party Service Providers & Data Processors

A Traveling Farm works with the following categories of third-party service providers who may process your personal data on our behalf:

  • HubSpot โ€” CRM platform and form submission management. Handles encrypted transmission of contact and booking form data.
  • Mailchimp โ€” Email marketing platform. Stores subscriber name and email address for email communications.
  • Google Analytics / Google Ads โ€” Website usage analytics and advertising measurement. May collect anonymized browsing data via cookies.

Each provider has been selected for their compliance with applicable data protection laws and each operates under a data processing agreement or standard contractual terms. None of these providers are authorized to use your personal data for their own independent marketing purposes without your separate consent.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by applicable law. Booking and event records are generally retained for a minimum of 3 years following the event date for insurance and legal purposes. You may request earlier deletion of your personal data (subject to any overriding legal retention obligations) by contacting us at cw@atravelingfarm.com.
